South Causey Inn: Alisia and Chris’ Family Orientated, Rustic Wedding Celebration

DATE

“Remember to enjoy every moment.”

Situated in the stunning Beamish Valley, this gorgeous country inn, offered Alisia and Chris an unforgettable day, which they could cherish forever.

After meeting 11 years ago on New Year’s Eve, sparks flew between the pair and their love was sealed with a midnight kiss.

Their relationship soon blossomed, as the couple knew early on that they would spend the rest of their lives together.

Although a wedding surrounded by family and friends was a must have for Alisia and Chris, their wedding was made perfect by their toy poodle, Flo, making an appearance.

Alisia said: “We knew 100 per cent that we wanted Lee Scullion to do our wedding images. Everyone had mentioned how great he was with all the guests and his images are timeless.”

The Venue:

South Causey Inn promised Alisia and Chris a relaxed ambience with a touch of character for their wedding day. The low wooden beams added a rustic feel, while the draped ivory flowers created elegance like no other.

“South Causey took all of the hard work out of planning a wedding. I would tell everyone to pick South Causey, as they were amazing throughout the planning and also during the day,” Alisia reflected.

 The Dress:

Alisia said: “The first dress I tried on ended up being my evening dress. I loved the blush pink colour and felt it had a Vivienne Westwood feel to it, which I fell in love with.

However, I knew I wanted to get married in white, so decided to continue to look around for my wedding dress. I tried on more dresses, but as soon as I put on ‘the one’, I knew.”

Alisia stepped out in a beautiful fishtail gown, with an intricate guipure bodice and stunning ruffle skirt. Her sleeveless dress, with sweetheart neckline, oozed a timeless elegance, adding class and beauty to their special day.

The Bride’s Advice:

“Don’t let the stress of planning your wedding take away from the excitement of your big day. Remember to enjoy every moment of the day and make sure to look around and take everything in.

After all, everyone is there for you and your husband.”
