Surrounded by open parkland, in the breath-taking North Yorkshire countryside, this beautiful and elegant Gothic revival stately home, Allerton Castle, promised Heather and Cameron a wedding day they would cherish forever. 

After a beach holiday proposal in Zanzibar, during the summer of 2018, Heather and Cameron had just over twelve months to plan the biggest day of their lives...

Allerton Adoration:

'The grandest Gothic revival castle in all the land…’

Steeped in history and character, Allerton Castle offered an exclusive day, filled with an enchanted ambience and rooms of spectacular opulence.

Heather – “We managed to sneak out for photographs, between courses, to make use of the stunning Allerton Castle as our backdrop - with just a faintest hint of light in the sky.”

Wooden features and bursts of burgundy and rich gold colours decorated the ceremony room, while statement chandeliers and delicate lanterns bordered the commanding aisle.

Belle Bride:

“I bought my dress from an independent bridal shop in my hometown - where my parents still live. I started looking soon after we got engaged, trying on various styles, but the one I ended up choosing was in fact a wild card pick from the bridal shop owner!” - Heather

Heather walked the grand staircase in a beautiful embellished Mon Cheri design by Martin Thornburg.

This stunning fit-and-flare gown was enhanced with an intricate beaded bodice and floor-length veil, oozing nothing less than beauty, sophistication and elegance.

Picture Perfect:

Known for blending creative, exciting and distinctive photographs, Heather and Cameron knew that West Yorkshire wedding photographer, Chris Chambers, would be perfect for capturing all the special moments of their big day.

 Heather – “There were so many photographs that simply blew us away. Chris did an amazing job – our photos speak for themselves.”
