Beamish Hall proved the perfect place for Danielle and Craig’s elegant and traditional wedding on June 2nd 2018. Surrounded by close friends and family the couple wanted a celebration filled with love, laughter, good food and plenty of dancing! “We wanted a traditional elegant wedding for close friends and family, with lots of food and dancing, and we got it!”

Danielle and Craig first met on the dance floor in Perdu Club, in Newcastle. Although Danielle wasn’t impressed with his dance moves, she took a chance and has never looked back! “We met in Perdu Club, in Newcastle, when Craig was out for his 25th Birthday. I was less than impressed with his dance moves, but my friend, Emily could see the potential and persuaded me he was worth a gamble. We’ve never looked back!”

When it came to finding their wedding venue, for Danielle and Craig it was love at first sight! “We had looked at several wedding venues online before narrowing it down to just a few to visit. After meeting the team and seeing Beamish Hall there was no competition it had to be Beamish. They were fabulous on the day despite our late arrival. Food and décor were all amazing and staff were very helpful but completely unobtrusive. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to future brides and grooms.”

The couple chose Michael Southwick to capture their special day. “We met Michael at a wedding fare at Ramside Hall and loved his work. He was friendly, organised and helpful on the day, as was his lovely wife.”

Advice for other brides and grooms?
“Take time for each other on the day, its very busy and time just seems to fly. You feel you are pulled in so many directions, but it’s your day and that’s the most important thing, so take time to be with each other. We were lucky we had a 50-minute drive from the church to Beamish to just catch up with each other and enjoy the moment.”

What was your highlight of the day?
“We couldn’t chose any one moment, the whole day was absolutely perfect and we’d do it again in a heartbeat.”
