REAL WEDDINGS
Charlotte and Andrew’s romantic Rudding Park wedding
“Marrying my soulmate and celebrating our special day with our family and friends was definitely the highlight of the day.”
Situated in the heart of Harrogate, privately owned luxurious hotel, Rudding Park overlooks 300 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland. Renowned as one of Harrogate’s most beautiful hotels, Charlotte and Andrew had no doubt their special day would be one to remember.
The couple caught each other’s eye, 15 years ago, when Andrew started working for Charlotte’s dad’s business. Around eight years later, their friendship blossomed into a relationship and they never looked back!
After being engaged for almost three years, Charlotte said, “It gave me enough time to structure each part of the planning and allowed time to concentrate on getting one thing done at a time.”
THE VENUE:
“The ambience and atmosphere at Rudding Park set itself apart from the other two venues we visited. The architecture, interior, grounds and service were the most important to us - Rudding Park ticked all the boxes,” Charlotte said.
The rich coloured décor and statement chandeliers added nothing less than a timeless elegance to the couple’s wedding, while the navy tiebacks and gold fairy lights complemented the Georgian-style room perfectly. The traditional suite was given a more exquisite feel by the grand white flowers, which stood tall as centerpieces.

With picturesque views and stunning gardens, Rudding Park did not disappoint when promising the couple a unique wedding day.
THE DRESS:
Charlotte visited three boutiques but had her heart set on the very first dress she tried on, a beautiful Caroline Castigliano dress from The Bridal Collection in Harrogate. Delicate lace covered the v-neck bodice of the dress, while the spaghetti straps and a-line skirt added class and elegance. Hints of blush pink within the flowers were complemented by the natural glow and lip colour of the blushing bride.

The Photographer
Tim was the first wedding supplier booked by Charlotte and Andrew for their wedding after meeting Tim at Rudding Park's wedding fair. "His friendly and genuine approach made us feel comfortable and this was really important to us for our special day in addition to his professional portfolios of high quality images and albums."

BRIDE’S ADVICE:
“Enjoy the overall wedding planning experience and build up to your big day. Focus on ‘definites’ in the initial months of planning and get booked in so you aren’t disappointed – but do not rush any decisions. Take in your surroundings, as all of those details of planning are right in front of you as a whole.
Most importantly take a step back with your partner on your wedding day and have a moment together.”
