Crook Hall: Gardens, Grounds And Gorgeousness For Rachel And Lee
We love unique and personal proposals that really capture the essence of a couple’s relationship and for Rachel and Lee, their proposal was no exception.
“We were nearing the end of a year long trip travelling the world. Lee had carried a ring that he’d made from a nut in the Amazon since week four of the trip. We hiked to the top of Mango Viewpoint, Koh Tao where he proposed. I promptly burst into tears, thinking he was joking and proceeded to do so for about five minutes!”
From a dreamy proposal to a magical wedding, the couple tied the knot on the 30th March 2018 against the charming backdrop of Crook Hall and Gardens.
“We wanted a laid back day that focused around close friends and family. Crook Hall was perfect, as the medieval hall allowed us to have an intimate day and was the perfect setting for us to enjoy fantastic food and wine. We also adore the gardens and were lucky enough to have all of our photo’s outside.”
“Having grown up in County Durham, we always wanted to stay local. As soon as we set foot in Crook Hall we knew it was the place for us. We wanted a laid back wedding that allowed a bit of individuality and that’s exactly what we got.”
“The staff were amazing, the setting couldn’t have been any better and we can go back anytime!”
RGMphoto captured moments the couple could cherish and enjoy for the rest of their lives.
“Ross did a fantastic job of photographing our friend's wedding. He instantly made everyone feel at ease and we knew straight away that we wanted the same for our wedding."
Advice for other brides and grooms?
“Don’t stress about the little things; they’re all inconsequential on the day. Make sure you have time together to appreciate the day and ENJOY!”
