Dana Villas Santorini: Eve and Leslie's Sun-kissed Santorini Celebration

DATE

Initially living over 300 miles apart, distance did nothing to slow down Eve and Leselie’s romance. Inseparable since they met, they soon settled down in the northeast and – after a romantic proposal at The Dome in Edinburgh – began to plan their life together.

The Venue

For both the bride and groom the most vital factor for their wedding day was a breath-taking backdrop, and a party of close loved ones. Influenced by Insta-inspo and Pinterest pics, Dana Villas Santorini and their wedding planner – Fotini – brought all of Eve’s wanderlust wedding dreams to life.

The Dress

After searching far and wide for what Eve thought was the dress for her, she flew out to view a gown which had been altered to fit what she thought she wanted to walk down the aisle in. Unfortunately, when she saw the finished gown she realised that it wasn’t for her. Proving that you know when you know, Eve returned to England and found the gown she’d had in her head the whole time right in front of her at First Glance in Sunderland. The staff were amazing and any alterations which were needed were completed the same weekend.

On the big day, Leslie had tears in his eyes as he watched Eve come down the aisle to join him under a floral canopy, in her Ronald Joyce gown.

The Bride's Advice

“Don’t be scared to commit to what you want!” – Eve

Eve was a bride with a clear vision in her head about what she wanted on her wedding day, her advice to other couple’s looking to tie the knot is to plan the day that they want. Although there may have been some obstacles in her way, by committing to their vision, Eve and Leslie were able to have the wedding day they had always wanted.
