REAL WEDDING

BLUSH AND BLUE BEAUTY...

It all began back before anyone was swiping left or right, in the humble enclaves of Newcastle’s Tup Tup Palace VIP section. A night out on the tiles turned into a string of dates which turned into a blossoming romance, and before long, Elle and Noah were destined to spend forever together after he popped the question on a beautiful walk along the beach on Boxing Day.

With Tuscany 2020 in their sights, the planning process began. But cue Covid – and their dreams of an Italian wedding under sunlit skies came crashing down. However, as with most things in life, everything had seemed to happen for a reason. This heartbreak led them to find the perfect venue that would provide all the dreamy aesthetic and wedding must-haves they had yearned for, but a little closer to home.

Step up Jesmond Dene House, a charming luxury hotel nestled in Newcastle’s leafy suburb of Jesmond, peppered with kissing brides, babbling streams and a luxurious home from home that this couple completely made their own.

Something blue...

Elle and Noah knew they wanted a relaxed romantic feel for their day and decided that flowers would be the focal point. Enlisting award-winning Guest List florist Sprig and Thistle, their vision came to fruition in fabulous fashion, with an abundance of pastel blush and blue blooms showboating from the church in Gosforth right through into Jesmond Dene House’s exquisite banqueting hall where they would later dine.

HAVING SEEN HER WORK ON SOCIAL MEDIA SHE WAS THE ONLY FLORIST I CONSIDERED.

WHEN I WALKED INTO THAT BANQUETING HALL IT GENUINELY TOOK MY BREATH AWAY. SHE HAD COMPLETELY TRANSFORMED THE ROOM, IT FELT MAGICAL.

BELLE LOVES:

Huge urns spilling with colour and extravagance. Go big or go home floral styling at its very best!

Oh So Elle-gant

When it came to her gown, Elle pulled no punches in finding a dress that wold accentuate her natural figure whilst making her feel like a modern day princess. Despite a trip to London to find ‘the one’, she found her perfect fit close to home, at the stylish Jesmond showroom Marrime, who connected her with a super soft-feel Alexandra Grecco number.

Q&A

How did you feel as you walked down the aisle?

Super, super excited and happy.

Out of 10, how involved was your partner in the planning process? (answer honestly!)

1.. at a push haha.

What’s your funniest memory from the day?

The speeches were really quite something- I never knew the male members of my funny could be soo theatrical!

And the most special?

There are simply too many, every single moment was special.
