Rudding Park: Ellen and Christopher’s Romantic Whirlwind Wedding

DATE

“The whole day was perfect.”

With just a four-month engagement, the lead up to Ellen and Christopher’s wedding day was anything but laid-back. From the moment Ellen said yes, every spare minute was spent wedding planning. Thankfully the couple’s wedding planner and Rudding Park’s dedicated staff meant that this whirlwind wedding was the most incredible day of their life.

The Dream Destination:

‘A Romantic Yorkshire Wedding’

The most beautiful hotel in Harrogate, Rudding Park, played home to the wedding of Ellen and Christopher. Set amidst 300 acres of woodland and landscaped gardens, this privately owned luxury hotel was everything the couple had ever dreamt of and more.

Having previously visited Rudding Park holiday lodges and spending time at the rooftop spa, the bride-to-be realised then, that it would be every girl’s dream destination to get married.

Already head over heels for everything that Rudding Park had to offer, Ellen completely fell in love when she saw the beautiful chapel.

After exchanging their vows, the newly weds stepped out into Rudding Park grounds where they were surprised with a magical horse and carriage ride – a childhood dream of Ellen’s.

On the couple’s wedding day, they were made to feel like complete royalty, where nothing was ever too much to ask. With the help of Jamie, the general manager, Ellen and Christopher were able to plan the day of their wedding dreams with everything running smoothly.

Bridal Beauty:

Arriving at the relaxed boutique, Treasured Brides, Ellen’s mum instantly knew the dress she would walk the aisle in, however from first look it wasn’t what the bride was looking for. After trying on many dresses, her mum finally persuaded her to try on the dress she had picked out and to Ellen’s surprise, she instantly fell in love.

“I felt like a princess. After choosing a tiara, I knew at that moment that would be my wedding dress, even though it was a completely different choice to what I had in mind.” – Ellen

Bold and beautiful, Ellen illuminated the chapel with her Essense of Australia gown. This ball gown style dress, with layered skirt and intricate beaded bodice, boasted nothing short of beauty and elegance on their special day.

The Bride’s Words:

“Enjoy every moment, stay in your dress for as long as possible, don’t stress about your guests and go with the flow.

Make sure you get an amazing photographer to capture every moment and plan your pictures well in advance.”
