Nestled in the Northumberland, Ellingham Hall played host to Lindsey and Martin’s special day. Captured by Focal Point Photography, this country house was transformed into a spring paradise with the use of coral, lemon and Champagne shades.
Spring and Easter were the inspiration behind Lindsey and Martin’s big day, so guests who stayed overnight were treated to an egg and Easter card as a ‘thank you’.
For this couple the choice of venue was clear, as they wanted exclusive use with beautiful indoor and outdoor options, so no matter the weather they could have the wedding day of their dreams.
They wanted the ultimate celebration with their nearest and dearest, so to ensure everyone was entertained, Lindsey and Martin had a guitarist during the day followed by a live band at the reception. They also had three different types of cake flavours – fruit, lemon and salted caramel – so there was something for everyone.
Highlight of the day?
“The ceremony was definitely the highlight of the day, saying our vows to one another.”
Advice for future brides and grooms-to-be?
“Be as organised as possible right up until the day, so on the day you can relax and let everyone else make it happen.”
After the wedding Lindsey and Martin went on a mini moon to Yorebridge Hotel, in Bainbridge.
