Ellingham Hall: Fay and Christopher's Fairytale Happily Ever After
When Fay and Christopher were planning their wedding, the most important thing for them was to create an informal atmosphere for their guests, where everybody could come together to enjoy the celebration in comfort. Combine this with wedding photographer Sean Elliot, who was willing to do anything to get the perfect shot and the bride’s personal connection to the venue, and the result was this GORGEOUS Ellingham Hall wedding.
THE VENUE
Having worked at Ellingham Hall in the past as a waitress, the venue had always held a special place in Fay’s heart, and when it came to choosing a place to say their vows, they both knew they had to pay the hall another visit.
“We loved how we could have all our family and close friends staying there with us for the full weekend.” – Fay
Although they had considered other options, no venue had even come close to Ellingham hall for the couple, and it was an easy decision for the bride who had always dreamed about getting married at the exclusive, fairytale location.
The eighteen luxurious bedrooms and idyllic stone cottages meant that the couple’s desire to have their loved ones close for the entire weekend could be a reality. Accented with show stopping lighting from Coco Luminaire, Ellingham Hall was transformed into the wedding venue Fay had always dreamed it would be.
THE DRESS
A self-confessed indecisive wedding dress shopper, Fay took a while to find THE dress – To be fair it is THE MOST important decision! Shopping at Mia Sposa, who are the 2019 regional recipients of ‘Best Bridal Retailer,’ Fay was made to feel special in every dress she tried on.
The lace detailed train added a dramatic flair to this classic, form fitting, Martina Liana dress, while the roses in the bouquet complimented the blush tones of the bridesmaid’s dresses.
THE BRIDE’S ADVICE
The highlight of the bride’s day was seeing everything come together on the day, and her advice is to prepare. Prepare. Prepare! This mentality is what Fay and Christopher credit being able to relax as a couple throughout the day to. By planning in advance there was time for them to enjoy their friend’s, family, and each other’s company.
