After being introduced by the bride’s sister, Genevieve and Jordan’s love story began when Jordan proposed on the beautiful Seychelles beach, under the sunset.

The couple tied the knot at St. Cuthbert’s Church in Stockton, before celebrating the night away at the luxurious venue, Wynyard Hall.

The Venue:

Set amidst 150 acres of historical surroundings, this four-star enchanting wedding venue, Wynyard Hall, stands proud overlooking the Tees Valley, Durham.

Providing an exceptional service with exquisite charm and stunning backdrops, there was no surprise that Genevieve and Jordan were ready to fall in love all over again with the tranquil setting that Wynyard Hall had to offer.

Genevieve – “I always wanted a venue with stunning views but also somewhere local, so I could get married at my family church.

I love Wynyard Hall – it is absolutely stunning from the moment you pull up. The entire place, including the lake and surroundings are just perfect.

We had a travel theme to our wedding day – every country my husband and I visited together were the names on our tables.”

Capturing beauty like no other, bursts of golden colours decorated the reception room while the white sheer tiebacks added elegance and class to the couple’s special day.

The Dress:

“I tried on so many dresses, until I found my dream dress online and emailed all local stockists in the North area to locate it.” - Genevieve

The bride wore a gorgeous Morilee gown, fit for a princess. The stunning fishtail dress was enhanced with a delicate embellished waistband and cut-out lace back.

The Bride’s Advice:

“I thought it was cliché but the day goes so fast and unfortunately you don’t get to relive it. Nothing matters on the day and you’ll realise that all the little things that you worried about completely go.

Also, try and enjoy the time during photos as it is the only time you get to be alone with your partner.”
