After a romantic meal at the restaurant where they had their first date, there was one more item on the menu. When all of the plates were taken away, Rob got down on one knee and asked Helen to make him the happiest man in the world.
 

The Venue
 

Helen and Robert only went to one wedding fair and it was at Matfen Hall, and the stately home ended up being the venue of their dreams. The venue’s skilful mix of traditional sensibility and unique character stole the couple’s hearts, while the exemplary staff and service meant that Helen and Robert could enjoy their day without without worrying about any of the finer details.
 

For the bride and groom, having all of their loved ones in one place, surrounded by great food and music was the biggest must have for their celebrations. Not only did Matfen Hall go above and beyond to supply this, the dual team of Jane and Stan from Stan Seaton Photography, meant that every moment of the couple's special day could be captured. 

The Dress

At first, Helen was at a loss when it came to shopping for the perfect gown, like many brides she tried on dress after dress to try and narrow down the style she wanted but nothing felt like ‘the one.’ It wasn’t until she visited Jessica Bennett Bespoke that she could finally ‘say yes to the dress.’
 

Helen’s final gown was a couture creation, with a classic cut and sheer detailed bodice.
 

The Bride’s Advice

When booking a venue, Helen’s advice is to look for one which guide you as much as possible through the wedding planning process. For the bride, every single member of the Matfen Hall team made a huge difference to her and Rob’s day, meaning that they could enjoy their day together without worrying.
