“As soon as I met Kyle I knew he would be my husband.”

 

Lucy and Kyle first met on a night out, seven years ago and from the moment their eyes met, Lucy always knew she had found the man she was going to marry.

Set in the very heart of Northumberland, this elegant and exclusive country house hotel, Horton Grange, promised the couple an unforgettable day. This hidden gem offered an intimate setting, picture perfect views and a dream wedding day that was exclusive to Lucy and Kyle.

The couple always wanted a wedding where their guests could relax and enjoy their day.

“It couldn’t have been more perfect,” Lucy said.

THE VENUE:

Lucy said: “We originally wanted to get married abroad however, we were both struggling to commit. After searching for ‘small wedding venues’, we visited Horton Grange the next day and fell in love.”

This intimate wedding venue consisted of hanging chandeliers, white blossom trees and rustic chairs, giving Lucy and Kyle the relaxed wedding vibe they had only ever dreamt of.

The scattered blush petals decorated the aisle, while hints of blush pink stood out amongst the flower arrangements, complementing the room perfectly.

Horton Grange, known for its ‘exclusive to you’ wedding package, offered nothing less than a classic romance to the couple’s day.

“As soon as we stepped in I knew Horton Grange was where I wanted to get married; so we booked the wedding that day,” Lucy reflected.

THE DRESS:

Lucy said, her “wedding dress experience was amazing. I only went in two boutiques, the first being Y.A.P.

As soon as I walked in, the feel of the boutique was like no other and the staff were faultless. I felt so special and it only took three dresses to find the one!”

Lucy looked stunning in her fit-and-flare dress by designer Maggie Sottero. The beaded lace and Swarovski embellishments scattered the bodice while the illusion of the plunging neckline created a sense of class and elegance.

THE BRIDE’S ADVICE:

“My advice for any bride and groom would be just to simply enjoy it. Make sure you soak up every second because the day flies over so quickly.

The highlight of the day was seeing our beautiful children walking down the aisle and finally becoming Mr. and Mrs. Bonas!”
