After swiping right on dating app Tinder, Katie and Anthony’s shared love for Star Wars and Lego brought them closer together.
 
When Anthony got down on one knee, Katie immediately said yes before they jetted off to Germany’s capital to celebrate their proposal and begin preparing for the biggest day of their lives.

Other than tying the knot surrounded by their closest family and friends, their only wish was to have a Star Wars theme running throughout.

Katie – “After our very first visit, we knew we had found the venue where we would say I do.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning but having the whole place to ourselves for the full weekend sealed the deal for us.”

Their Star Wars theme carried on throughout their Wedding Breakfast – with centrepieces, made from Lego, recreating different scenes from the Star Wars planets.

Bridal Wish Beauty:

Katie found her dream Jesus Peiro gown at a Belle Bridal Wynyard Hall wedding fair.

After arranging an appointment at independent bridal boutique, Bridal Wish, to try the dress on, she immediately fell in love and knew instantly it was the one.

A real labour of love - this stunning a-line gown with satin finish provided a timeless, refined look on Katie and Anthony’s wedding day. Complete with cutout back detailing and high neck, this understated dress emanated a dreamy style for the fashion-forward bride.

“Do it your own way. Everyone has advice but you don’t have to listen to it - it’s your day and you can’t please everyone!

Spend money where you see the benefit and try not to worry if it doesn’t go to plan. After all, nothing matters except the feelings you share and the commitments you make.
