Lartington Hall: Charlotte and Chris’ Captivating Wedding Celebration
“Enjoy the journey and celebrate marrying your soul mate.”

Set amongst idyllic parkland on the North Yorkshire borders, this 17th century country house, Lartington Hall, offered Charlotte and Chris a ‘heart-stoppingly beautiful’ wedding celebration.
Charlotte and Chris first met at a charity sports event, which Charlotte organised, to raise money for cancer research. The first time the couple laid eyes on each other Chris was wearing a dress and wig! The pair fell in love and the rest was history.
The plan for the couples wedding day was to have a relaxed but breathtakingly beautiful celebration, surrounded by their nearest and dearest.

THE VENUE:
‘Where wedding dreams are made.’
Lartington Hall turned all of Charlotte and Chris’ dreams into a reality, when they fell in love with this stunning country house.
This sophisticated and understated venue promised a day like no other, with the glamorous yet comfortable atmosphere.

Charlotte said: “We fell in love with the history of Lartington and when we viewed the venue, we were blown away by what had been created. Lartington offered light and beauty from every angle, along with oozing warmth and love from the minute you set foot inside.”
A timeless elegance filled the air, complemented by the stain glass windows, gold detailing and hanging chandeliers.
This hidden gem offered a blank canvas to Charlotte and Chris, allowing them to add a personal touch to their wedding day.
THE DRESS:
Charlotte found her gorgeous Sherri Hill dress from Molly Browns in York, describing her dress shopping experience as, “Easy. First shop and first dress! (Rare for me)”

The stunning embellishments scattered the bodice of the dress, slowing fading out towards the bottom.
Delicate butterflies covered Charlotte’s floor-length veil, complementing the flowing skirt and intricate detailing on her dress.
This beautiful gown with a plunging neckline illusion and cut out back captured the true elegance and charm of their special day.
THE BRIDE’S ADVICE:
“Don’t stress over what can’t be but laugh at the mistakes and love the memories. In the end all that matters is that you spend the day with people who matter.”
