Sam and Jade had a 1920s-inspired engagement party and wanted to incorporate this theme into the styling of their wedding. In the picture-perfect setting of Lartington Hall, the pair held a traditional, but glamorous celebration. “I fell in love with Lartington Hall as soon as I pulled up to view the hall. I wanted the day to be with all close family and friends and our girls to be as much included into our special day as possible.”

“I fell in love instantly! The venue is an absolute fairytale. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by John, who showed me round this spectacular hall and its grounds. It was picture-perfect! The fact it was an exclusive use venue sold it to me straight away and I didn't even hesitate about putting a deposit down and booking.”

Jade looked absolutely stunning in her Justin Alexander dress from Mia Sposa, in Newcastle. “I went to a Justin Alexander designer event. I was greeted with Champagne and was treat like how a bride should be treated when looking for their dress. I fell in love with one dress instantly and knew from my best friend’s tears and my mam’s that I had found the one! I was then sketched in my dress and signed by the designer himself.”

How did you choose your photographer?
“I have known Kendra for many years and she has photographed every event and captured my maternity photos and pictures of my children. I wouldn't choose anyone else to capture our special day!”

Advice for other brides and grooms?
“Enjoy every moment of your special day and take everything within stride because as long as its perfect for you both nothing else matters!”

What was your highlight of the day?
“The fireworks, they were timed to the music perfectly and gave our dream day that extra sparkle!”
