Lartington Hall: A Regal Celebration For Luke And Bethany
If you’ve read the brand new issue of Belle Bridal, then you know we have a special place in our hearts for Lartington Hall. Today, we have a regal celebration to share with you all, captured by the wonderful 2tone Photography. Bethany and Luke knew they wanted a grand wedding with a classic and luxurious feel to it, and the setting of Lartington Hall was perfect for their champagne themed day.

“When we started planning the wedding we knew we both wanted quite a big wedding with the wow-factor to go with it, and we definitely got that with Lartington Hall. We wanted everything to be that little bit extra, but still classy. We wanted a neutral and champagne colour theme, which happened to match perfectly with the venue - it was fate! I’d almost say we wanted a regal-feel to it, from the tall, rounded centrepieces and the large cake to the gold painted pillar-cases in the ballroom. Everything was just how we imagined - perfect!”

“We had never heard of Lartington Hall when we started looking for venues, it was actually my maid of honour, Lauren who told me about it. I first went for a look with my mam and all I did was look through a window and straight away I said 'this is where I'll be getting married.’ When we walked through the door it took my breath away - it is truly incredible. I took Luke back the following week and as I predicted his jaw dropped too! Lartington Hall was everything we wanted in a wedding venue; a private space that we were able to hire exclusively for our close family and friends to stay, it gave a welcoming feeling that made us all feel at home and the most stunning decor you have ever seen to go along with everything else. John, Shona, Sophie and the rest of the team were amazing and their hospitality was second-to-none! We literally could not recommend Lartington Hall enough to future brides and grooms, and we are almost jealous that we wont be able to do it again!”

“We found 2tone Photography at a local wedding fayre. We loved their style as soon as we started looking through their albums. Their photographs seemed so crisp, clear and deep in colour, and that was exactly what we were looking for, something that said bold. Nigel and Chrissie are so lovely too. They work with such a relaxed attitude and it’s almost like having friends photograph your wedding. I would definitely recommend having a pair of photographers, that way, so many more images from different angles are able to be captured and I would not hesitate to recommend 2tone to any bride and groom.”

“Our advice to future brides and grooms would be to not hold back. It is the one day in your lives that you’re allowed to go all out. Usually when you want something in life, there's always the devil and angel on your shoulders saying 'do it', 'don't do it,’ but with your wedding it’s bound to be something you really want to make your day that extra bit special, so do it, book it! You will not regret it even if it means saving a few more pennies.”

“The highlight of our wedding was definitely during the wedding breakfast when our singing waiters revealed themselves! We both felt that there's a bit of a lull when everyone sits down for dinner, so what better than to get everyone up on their feet having a sing and a dance. They created such a great atmosphere and had everyone up on their feet. Everyone commented on how brilliant and unique they were. We would definitely recommend them for wedding day entertainment.”

Bethany shares with us where it all began…
“Luke and I met in the second year of college when we were 17. We were originally like best friends. Luke was almost a year older than me and had passed his driving test, so he acted as chauffeur for a while. It took us months to face the facts that we liked each other then the rest, as they say is history!”
