After meeting in their local pub, Laura knew Mark was ‘the one’ when she caught him dancing to Ocean Colour Scene, alone in his kitchen!
The couple fell in love and tied the knot, surrounded by their friends and family, at the stunning venue, Ellingham Hall.
Laura and Mark always dreamt of having a feel-good, family wedding with great music and memories that would last forever.
Boasting exquisite grounds, luxurious surroundings and an enchanting atmosphere, there was no surprise Laura and Mark fell head over heels for this magical venue.
Laura – “Ellingham Hall is so beautiful. We booked it from the Friday right through to the Sunday, so it really felt like our home that weekend.
The staff were so helpful and Wendy, the co-ordinator, was amazing at helping us plan in the lead up to the big day.”
This exclusive, English country house, set in the heart of Northumberland, was complete with oversized flower bouquets and twinkling fairy lights. The wooden features, dramatic chandeliers and bursts of golden colours, added to the muted colour palette of the chapel and eclectic interiors at Ellingham hall to provide the perfect backdrop for this stylish soirée.
“I spent a lot of time finding my dream dress. I have twin babies who were born in July 2018 so it took me a while to fit into anything!” – Laura
The bride wore a beautiful Catherine Deane gown, enhanced with a decorative lace overlay and veil. The high neck and long sleeves oozed a traditional elegance like no other – a classic and beautiful look to say the least.
The Bride’s Advice:
“My advice would be to try and make your wedding original.
Do something that makes the day extra special and helps you to both really enjoy it.”
