Laura and Ramin’s Ravishing Romance at Eshott Hall
REAL WEDDING
Milla Nova Magic, Garden Delights and all the Lights…
“We discovered we really liked each other on the Great Wall of China,” as you do – on a school trip as young and bashful teens – but now and Laura and Ramin have broken down each others walls and find themselves as a devoted husband and wife team.
Not long after their 10 year anniversary, the pair enjoyed a spa weekend at Ramside Hall where Ramin created a beautiful scrapbook filled with photos from their meeting in China. She turned around, and he was on one knee with a ring. Naturally, she said yes immediately.
Next – the tempestuous trials of Covid. With Ramin working on the front line as an ICU doctor, their dream day took a back seat, which was further pushed back after their venue shut down four months before their date. Luckily, they managed to secure the same date at Eshott Hall in the Northumberland countryside – and their picture perfect wedding came into full fruition one warm Sunday in July.
Resplendent in summer sunshine, Laura and Ramin tied the knot in Eshott’s quaint and ornate onsite chapel before heading into the enchanting grounds for a ravishing summer soiree. Think canapés, fizz under the towering green trees, and a quite gorgeous bride.
Get the Luxe:
Laura was a modern day Cinderella in her floor length Milla Nova ‘Jolanta’ gown from esteemed Newcastle Guest List boutique Si Bridal complete with deep V plunging neckline and glowing makeup from Jo Leversuch. Loose waves and a pair of dazzling Jimmy Choos finished of this bride’s elegant ensemble.
Styled to Suit:
Dining delights were aplenty at Eshott as their suite was styled with classic greens and whites from Katherine’s Florist – from a garland on the staircase and archway to cascading top table centrepieces. Laura’s father’s company NE Events dressed the venue with hundreds of candles, gold decorative accents and personalised signage. For the evening? Uplighters, a golden mirrored dance floor and confetti machines really upped the anti for this party.

MY DAD WAS LIKE A WIZARD ON THE DAY. IF THERE WAS AN ISSUE HE FIXED IT BEFORE IT BECAME APPARENT
LAURA, THE BRIDE
That’s what dad’s are for… The best moment of the day? For Laura, it was their first dance. The pair swayed to their rendition of LOVE by Nat King Cole, sung incredibly by Jason Isaacs. Cue the firework and confetti machines to make an outpouring of emotional joy – especially pertinent after the 18 months endured by all.

THAT MOMENT REALLY FELT LIKE WE WERE IN A MOVIE.
