From London to Mallorca: Jessica and Rhys’ Wedding Spectacular
After meeting on a Saturday night out, in a Chelsea pub, Jessica and Rhys knew that they would spend the rest of their lives together.
Their relationship blossomed when Rhys proposed on Christmas day, last year, with Jessica’s dream ring in hand – which he designed from scratch himself!
Spanish Splendour:
After saying their vows at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London, Jessica and Rhys jetted off to the stunning Spanish island of Mallorca, where they carried on their celebrations, surrounded by the ones they loved.
With a desire to have a destination wedding in a hot country, the couple fell in love with all that Mallorca had to offer. Renowned for its sheltered coves, beachfront settings and stone built villages, it was the luxurious hotel, Cap Rocat, which stole their hearts.
Jessica - “We chose a venue which had stunning interiors as well as exteriors. I loved the fact that it was once a military fortress – a perfect link to Rhys’ military past.
From the moment we drove down the sweeping drive with its fire torches and sea views, we knew. Just like choosing a house (and a husband), you just know!”
Set on the beautiful Balearic Islands, Cap Rocat boasted history and character, alongside natural surroundings and unique architecture.
With a classic theme in mind, Jessica and Rhys loved the idea of having all-white flowers, floating chandeliers and lit candles to create a romantic and beautiful ambience.
The dramatic floral runner, elegant touches and striking venue, allowed the couple to have the wedding day of their dreams.
The Dress of her Dreams:
“My mother and I went to the Wedding Gallery, as we knew they had lots of beautiful brands under one roof – as soon as I tried on the very first dress, we both started crying.
I did go to other bridal boutiques to be sure, but we kept going back to that first dress. I always knew it was ‘the one’ and loved keeping it a surprise for all my guests!” – Jessica
The Bride’s Words:
“Things will inevitably not go to plan but try your best not to let it upset you. Focus on each other and your guests (because I promise they wont have noticed). It really does fly by!”
