For Tim and Ruth their special day was all about celebrating their love for one another in a beautiful venue filled with their nearest and dearest.
The bride and groom are both from small families, so they wanted a relaxed and intimate wedding, and Crab Manor, in Thirsk, was the ideal venue. “Crab Manor is a superb setting for a wedding,” said Ruth. She added: “The gorgeous grounds, fabulous hotel rooms and amazing food, resulted in us having the perfect wedding day.”
While the bride looked beautiful in her gorgeous white gown, the groom’s brother Robert thought he would showcase his whites too. “Robert was one of our witnesses. When he bent down to sign the wedding register he split the seam on the back of this trousers showing off his white boxer shorts. Everyone was queuing up for a look until someone managed to find a sewing kit,” laughed Ruth.
Advice for brides and grooms-to-be? “ Try not to get stressed out with last minute details in the arrangements. The day goes by so quickly, so make sure you enjoy it!”
