Jodie and Matthew first met during a night out in Hartlepool more than 10 years ago and as they say, the rest is history! Fast-forward to 25th May 2018 and the couple tied the knot in the picture-perfect setting of Lumley Castle.

“Previous to us booking our wedding my bridesmaid’s brother got married at Lumley Castle and when I got there I thought wow! We both thought it was going to be way above our budget. Luckily, we managed to get a really, really good package! Both Matthew and I would 100% recommend Lumley Castle to anyone looking at venues. The castle, interiors, bedrooms, wedding suites and the ground itself, was to die for!”

Jodie and Matthew chose Sawyer & Sawyer to capture their special day. “We were going through Facebook to see if there were any local photographers able to do our day. With it being on a Friday we both thought we would struggle and then along came Ray, and we couldn't fault him at all. He kept in touch through out the months leading up to the wedding and even came to our home to discuss what would happen on the day of the wedding. Ray went above and beyond for us both and got us some amazing shots, inside the venue and outside. We have recommended him to my cousin who’s getting married in October 2019.”

“I don't think we could pick a single thing out because everything was how I imagined all them years ago when I was a little girl.”
