Michelle and Alessandro knew from the minute they met, that they would spend the rest of their lives together.
Although an official proposal never took place, the couple planned their dream wedding day and have never looked back since!
Flowers were extremely important for both the bride and groom – an element they specifically wanted to focus on.
Set in the Salento region, known as the ‘heel’ of Italy, lies a beautiful vineyard, Masseria Li Veli. Renowned for its whitewashed buildings and Mediterranean coastline, the stunning setting of Italy promised a picture perfect backdrop for Michelle and Alessandro’s Italian dream wedding.
“Apart from the fact that it’s beautiful, it is located in the middle of vineyards. It is so charming and even more beautiful at night. If I were to do it again or advise someone on a location, especially in Puglia, that would definitely be it.” – Michelle
Boasting an aesthetic beauty, draped fairy lights hung from above, while dramatic feather centrepieces stood proud on the tables. A wedding like no other, Masseria Li Veli, allowed the couple to have a day they would never forget.
“I never wanted a typical bridal dress – I wanted a white dress but not a wedding dress. I knew I wanted a Florentine designer, as this is where Ale and I met.
One afternoon, I walked past all the dreamy dresses in the Ermanno Scervino window and that was it! Mr Scervino himself insisted they custom made a white dress for me – I couldn’t be happier the day I saw it and I was even more excited about finally being able to wear it on the wedding day.”
Michelle walked the aisle in a gorgeous bespoke wedding gown; with organza ruffle detailing and sheer skirt. Alessandro’s navy blue suit and the stunning feathered flower bouquet complemented her dress beautifully.
The Bride’s Advice:
“Enjoy the preparation part and listen to each other, trusting in each other will lead to a wedding day where you both put efforts into creating something special for everyone.”
