After sharing their first kiss on the beach together, their romance soon blossomed before they tied the knot surrounded by family and friends.

This impressive gothic-style Yorkshire mansion, boasting beautiful grounds, outdoor spaces and landscaped gardens, turned all of Michaela and Jamie’s dreams into a reality.

A stunning outdoor space showing elegance and beauty, The Mercure Bankfield Hotel, was fit for a princess with the gorgeous hanging flower baskets and picturesque backdrop - it was no surprise that Michaela and Jamie had a wedding day they would remember forever.
 
Michaela said: “I fell in love with the idea of getting married outside and the Mercure was local and offered this.

Having a summer wedding meant I wanted guests to have the option of somewhere nice to sit outside – the hotel met this perfectly and the food was amazing too! I would definitely recommend this venue to others.”

The Dress:

“I was lucky enough to have a bridal party that knew exactly what I wanted, we had a lovely day out dress shopping.
 

I knew it was ‘the one’ as soon as I tried it on, from the style, to the fit, to the colour.” Michaela reflected.

Scattered in an embellished lace, Michaela’s gorgeous gown from Brides To Be Bridal Boutique, oozed glamour and class. Her v-neck, fit-and-flare dress was complemented by the stunning sage green bridesmaids dresses.

The Bride’s Advice:

“Simply relax and enjoy it. Take time to appreciate each other and spend some time together soaking it all in – it really does fly by!
