Here at Belle Bridal we firmly believe that everything happens for a reason and in todays real wedding, captured by Jonathan Stockton Photography, it seems Donna – the bride – shares our views too!

“We met on the 5th of January 2013, I was out having a few drinks and a catch up with a friend, when Jordan caught my eye, I’m a great believer in fate and something inside was telling me that I just had to speak to him. I finally plucked up the courage and introduced myself. Luckily, for me as well as being incredibly handsome he was a genuinely nice guy too. We exchanged numbers and met for coffee a couple of days later. From then on falling in love with him was pretty easy, we shared a lot of similarities and the desire in the future to start a family, so the rest you could say was history.”

The couple recently tied the knot at Newton Hall on May 17th 2018 surrounded by their nearest and dearest. “We wanted to create something with a soft and elegant feel, keeping it subtle with a touch of pale pink incorporated into our colour scheme. The idea was to have a small and intimate wedding, which only close friends and family were invited. We wanted everyone to feel relaxed and to have a joyous and cheery atmosphere with lots of dancing!"

“Newton Hall was the very first and only venue we viewed. They advertised an open day, which we decided to attend and as soon as I walked in I fell in love with it, it had such a grand and elegant feel. The grounds and views were amazing and all of the staff were very attentive, especially Craig our Master of Ceremonies, he was so adorable! If you’re looking for a classy venue with lots of additional extras to offer then I would highly recommend Newton Hall.”

Donna and Jordan chose Jonathan Stockton to capture their special day. “It was a very easy decision when choosing our photographer. Jonathan had been recommended to us a few years ago to do our son’s first born pictures when he was just 10 days old, so we already knew the quality and effort that he puts into his work, which definitely shows. He just has this great aura about him too that makes you feel totally at ease.”

Advice for other brides and grooms?
“I’ve learned that you can’t always please everyone, it’s your day so do what makes you happy! Also to enjoy every single second and live in the moment, because unfortunately before you know it, it’s all over.”

What was your highlight of the day?
“Seeing both Donna and my son, Harper, walking down the isle, it was such an emotional time for me, I was bursting with pride,” - Jordan.

“The whole day I feel was perfect from start to finish. It’s something I could only ever have dreamed of as I’ve grown up, every girl wants their happy ever after, and I’m incredibly grateful that I’ve found mine. It was such a special day for us all! I wish we could do it all over again!” – Donna.
