Northside Farm: Amy and Martin’s Winter Wonderland Wedding

Back in December, Amy and Martin said their vows, at rustic venue Northside Farm. Nestled in the heart of Northumberland, the venue promised the couple a relaxed, winter wedding - a day they had only ever imagined.
Amy and Martin’s jobs allowed them to cross paths, after meeting on board luxury yachts. The couple soon became friends, until their friendship blossomed into a loving relationship just one year later.

The couple always dreamt of adding their own personal touches to their special day and luckily, the charm and character of Northside Farm allowed the perfect blank canvas they had been searching for.
Amy said: “They let us decorate everything our own way and we could have all the input we wanted, although they were still on hand to give us any inspiration when we needed it.”
THE VENUE:

Stonewalls, high wooden beams and white rustic chairs added nothing short of a relaxed romance to their special day.
The white hanging curtains with intertwined fairy lights and the small lanterns, which were placed at the sides of the aisle, complemented the radiant glow of the room.

Amy said: “We wanted something in the countryside and came across Northside Farm in my home county of Northumberland. The whole place was rustic and beautiful and it felt very warm and family orientated. We would definitely recommend Northside Farm to future brides.”

THE BRIDES LOOK:
Amy wore a gorgeous high-neck fishtail dress, from Accent, covered in lace from head-to-toe. The sheer skirt with lace detailing and scattered embellishments added a touch of class and elegance.
The bride’s flowers consisted of stunning red, burgundy and pink colours, matching with the berry coloured bridesmaid’s dresses from Lipsy London and the red confetti petals, which scattered the aisle.

THE COUPLE’S ADVICE:
“Don’t stress about it as much as possible as everything has a way of falling into place. Take a moment in the middle of your day to take it all in, as it goes so quickly.”
Amy said: “The highlight of my day was walking down the aisle and seeing Martin, and of course, the moment we said ‘I do’.”
The couple had a day they will never forget, filled with fun, laughter and all their family and friends.
“It was perfect.”
