Northside Farm: Jamie and Sophie's.... and the Dalmation's Real Wedding
“He would always offer me his ‘spare bagel’” - Sophie
Sophie and Jamie met when they were both working for a house builder, where the way to Sophie’s heart had been with coffee and bagels. On a morning Jamie would always find a way to conveniently bump into Sophie in the kitchen and offer her his ‘spare’ bagel.

Accompanied down the aisle by Sophie’s parent’s two Dalmatians and the Peaky Blinders theme song, Sophie and Jamie always knew they wanted something a little different for their wedding day. Northside Farm was the first venue the couple had visited, and its quirky accommodation options - such as individually named glamping pods - as well as the relaxed and wholesome environment the husband and wife owners offered made it the only choice for the bride and groom.
THE VENUE
Nestled within 400 acres of farm land, the family run Northside Farm has been tirelessly restored, with preservation of the original features and rustic charm being a top priority of the maintenance work.

The Gin Gang (one of the wedding ceremony spaces available at the venue) was finished just in time for the couple’s special day, meaning they not only got married, but also christened the spot too! Not only that, but Sophie and Jamie were also the first wedded pair to stay in one of Northside Farm’s brand new LUXURY FAIRY TALE COTTAGES.
Although the wedding planning process could be stressful at times, the entire wedding party enjoyed an evening of BBQing and drinks at the venue the night before the big day.
THE DRESS
Already knowing Cheryl and Victoria from The Blue Bow Bridal Company, this boutique was the bride’s first port of call when looking for THE dress - and she wasn’t disappointed. Sophie’s delicately detailed, Stella York dress was actually the first she tried on.

The baby pink bridesmaid’s dresses and accompanying accessories were also chosen with the help of the boutique.
THE BRIDES ADVICE
“It’s your day and you need to enjoy it.” - Sophie
Sophie and Jamie’s philosophy for their wedding day was simply to have a great time, and between hilariously heartwarming childhood videos during speeches and being able to incorporate their family dogs into the big event, I think it’s safe to say the bride and groom achieved their goal!
