Ramside Hall: Alix and Paul's Spring Wedding
Alix and Paul’s wedding journey began on Rocker Beach. A sign reading “Alix, will you marry me?” and an audience of both families, meant there wasn’t a dry eye, as Paul slipped the beautiful custom-made engagement ring onto the bride-to-be’s finger.
Alix's Mother and Father, Diane and Chris, wanted the wedding to be perfect. Chris said that when Alix was young, he had watched Father of the Bride and from that moment vowed that nothing would be too much for his daughter's wedding day.
Diane described the day as "an overwhelming moment I'll remember forever."
Undoubtedly the proudest and most emotional day of a parent's life is the day they watch their little girl marry the man of her dreams. After honoring the time-old marriage, Diane and Chris were determined to make all of their daughter's wedding dreams come true.
After a ceremony at Holy Trinity Church in Washington Village, the wedding party headed to the reception at the beautiful Ramside Summer Marquee. The marquee looked absolutely amazing, dressed in stunning shades of dusty pink, exactly as Mum Dianne had envisaged for this beautiful spring celebration.
The Dream Dress:
Alix had always known that she wanted an Ian Stuart couture creation, and determined that no detail should be overlooked, mother and daughter travelled to his Blewcoat Showroom in London. As soon as they walked through the door, they knew they had made the right choice. Inside the ornate, period building, Ian breathed life into the dream dress.
