With the Belle Bridal Love&Luxe show fast approaching on Sunday 1stMarch at Rudding Park, we’re sharing one of the venue’s beautiful brides on the blog.
Meeting in high school, Simeon and Georgina would play pool with friends afterschool, but over the course of a few months hanging out with friends became something more. Spending most of their dates going for long, romantic walks around Eccup Reservoir, Simeon cemented this as their special place when he got down on one knee during one of these walks.
It was Always Rudding…
“I had been in love with the venue for many years and had always dreamed of getting married there.” – Georgina
When asked what her biggest must-have for her wedding day was, this bride said she had known for years that she wanted to be wed at Rudding Park. Even before the groom had seen the place for himself, Georgina knew that it would be the location for her dream wedding.
Saying ‘I do,” over the Christmas period meant that the couple wanted their day to have a Christmassy theme, without it being too ‘in your face.’ Whites, golds and a few blush flowers.
It took a while for Georgina to find the gown she was looking for.
“I wanted something elegant but playful.” – Georgina
Saying their vows in the beautiful on-site chapel, the bride wore an intricately detailed, Justin Alexander Gown from The Harrogate Wedding Lounge.
