“It was the happiest day of our lives.”
 
Samantha and Michael hit it off right away, when they met on a night out with friends, around ten years ago. Their relationship soon blossomed when Michael proposed, last year, on their balcony in Tenerife.

After dreaming of their perfect wedding day, surrounded by their closest family and friends, just four months later the couple tied the knot at the stunning setting of Seaham Hall.

The Venue:

Standing proud, above a 37-acre Georgian Estate, this luxurious hotel and spa, Seaham Hall, played host to the wedding of Samantha and Michael.

Turning their wedding dreams into a reality, Seaham Hall promised the couple a day they would never forget, with magical memories they could cherish forever.

Samantha – “When it came to choosing a venue, there was no other choice for us both for our special day, Seaham Hall had everything we were looking for and more!

We were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny day for our wedding, the atrium was perfect as the glass roof allowed the natural sunshine into the ceremony space. The whole day was exceptional and the ambience was just perfect.

As a surprise for our guests, we all enjoyed an intimate firework display on the terrace at the back of the hotel, it was truly amazing.”

Cherry blossom trees overlooked the ceremony, while rustic lanterns and ivory leaves bordered the aisle adding elegance like no other.

The Dress:

“I wanted an elegant and glamorous dress, which represented my own personality.

With it being a winter wedding, I dreamt of having a fur shrug to complete my look. I decided on a blush colour, which complemented the theme and added more personality - I felt so special.” – Samantha

The bride stepped out in a gorgeous Essense of Australia gown with scattered embellished detailing and sweetheart neckline. This beautiful figure-hugging dress added a regal and classy look to Samantha and Michael’s wedding day.

The Bride’s Advice:

“Go to open evenings, this will help you get inspiration and meet any suppliers. You don’t get a lot of alone time on your big day, so enjoy a few moments together and take in the day.”
