Thomas and Jane’s love story started the moment they we’re introduced by their best friends. “My best friend is going out with Tommy’s best friend, so it was only a matter of time until our paths crossed,” explained Jane. Fast-forward to 31st March 2018 and the couple tied the knot in the beautiful setting of The George Hotel surrounded by all their friends and family.

Jane and Thomas wanted a wedding that reflected them as a couple, with personal touches incorporated throughout. “We wanted it to be classic and personal. We put loads of personal touches into the day from handmade wedding favours to cream eggs for an Easter Saturday touch, and photos of our loved ones on the bouquet. We wanted the day to be relaxed and fun, so everyone could enjoy our special moment.”

When it came to wedding venues, as soon as Jane and Thomas saw The George Hotel it was love at first sight. “We Googled local venues and after The George Hotel ticked all of boxes went to see it and fell in love with it. The George Hotel is a lovely, local hotel and restaurant that had accommodation and beautiful grounds and views. We feel very lucky that they have only just started doing weddings again, we were the first ones in over eight years. We would definitely recommend it as the day went perfectly and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were happy.”

 

Thomas and Jane chose Margarita to capture their special day. “The venue styling company shared Margarita’s page on Facebook and after looking at her photos we knew she would capture our day perfectly. We met in a local pub and after about five minutes asked if she would photograph our day. From the engagement shoot to the full wedding gallery she did not disappoint, it’s so hard to pick a favourite photo.”
