The Vermont Hotel: Two Wedding Gowns And One Chic City Setting
We love hearing the reasons behind why couples choose their wedding venue, and for Danielle and Ian they choose to celebrate at The Vermont Hotel, because it holds a special place in their hearts. “We first met just around the corner from The Vermont Hotel, and we wanted to make the wedding accessible to all of our friends and family at a place that meant something to us.”

This stylish and glamorous setting requires a chic city celebration and that’s exactly what this couple had in mind. “We opted for a city vibe with classic feel. We choose the venue that we thought most reflected our personal style. The theme on the day was black tie for the boys and old Hollywood for the ladies.”

“I would absolutely recommend the venue to other brides. Jade our wedding coordinator made the day absolutely perfect. It was exactly what we wanted and it all ran so smoothly.” Even when the groom, Ian, had spoken so long during his speech that the batteries in the microphone died, there was a backup on standby!

Danielle and Ian choose Lee Scullion - one of our favourite photographers - to capture the whole day. “I’d read in a magazine that you should consider the style of wedding photography you’d like, so I knew straight away my style was fashion editorial and that’s why we picked Lee. His style and personality are top drawer!”

Advice for future brides and grooms-to-be?
“Take it all in, as it goes over in a flash! I think it’s so important to capture the day of photograph and video too, as guaranteed you’ll want to relive the day again and again.”

The highlight for Danielle and Ian was having all their friends and family get up to dance around the amazing saxophonist.
