Whinstone View: Jenny And Nav Start Their Biggest Adventure - Marriage
From the beginning it was clear that both Jenny and Nav shared a passion for travel. During their three years together they had been to so many beautiful countries and seen an array of breathtaking sights. Fast-forward to 17th March 2018, and the two were set to embark on their biggest adventure yet - marriage.

“We had our first date on 6 April 2015 and despite not knowing each other at all prior to our date, we got on so well. We discovered that among lots of other things that we spoke about, we both shared a passion for travelling.”
“Naveed actually proposed to me on the steps of the Church in Harvard Square at Harvard University on a trip to America, where we travelled the East Coast from Boston to Washington DC. We have so many more adventures to come as a married couple, and we can’t wait to see the rest of the world together!”
The couple tied the knot in front of their nearest and dearest amidst the enchanting surroundings of Whinstone View.
“Mom recommended the venue after researching and viewing so many to help us out! It was truly perfect for us – it suited us down to the ground. She knows us so well and we can’t thank her enough for recommending it! We couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful place to get married. We would certainly recommend the venue to future brides!”
“All we wanted for the day was to say “I do” in a beautiful venue, in front of all the people who love and care about us… and celebrate the start of our new life together as Mr and Mrs!”
Michael Cartwright captured the day the couple celebrated their love with their close family and friends.
“After researching lots of photographers we just loved Michael Cartwright’s style – as we didn’t want a videographer, we wanted a photographer who would capture the day with plenty of natural shots as well as the more formal photographs. It is clear he has a good eye – as soon as the snow started falling he had us outside straight away!”
Advice for other brides and grooms?
“Have the wedding you want to have as a couple. This is your day – start the rest of your life as a married couple the way you want to continue it! Surround yourselves with people who want the best for you. We were so lucky that we had Mom and Dad (Mother and Father of the Bride) fully supporting our wishes for our Wedding Day. Our perfect day wouldn’t have been possible without them.”
What was your highlight of the day?
“This is a tricky one as it was such a perfect day, with so many highlights! We would probably have to say that the speeches were the highlight as they were so heartfelt, sincere and real. Our guests had plenty of laughs and plenty of tears – many people commented on how they were the best wedding speeches they had ever heard! Another highlight was the snow… Having our photographs taken outside in the dark with the snow gently falling down was truly magical, and certainly a memory we will never forget.”
