Like millions of girls before her, Brooke had dreamt of getting married and her ‘perfect white wedding’ since she was a little girl.

Colours of rich burgundy on her bridesmaids’ gowns and subtle hints of rose-gold were weaved into the finer details. The pure white Ronald Joyce dress emphasised an effortless elegance.

The simple beauty of the fresh white roses and hydrangeas adorned the tables.

It was, she reflects, her “fairytale wedding” to husband Scott and a day that exceeded all her wildest dreams.

Having met at work six years ago, Scott proposed to Brooke during a surprise trip to London.

She relished every moment of planning her special day, visiting wedding fairs throughout the region. Brooke added unique touches with handmade wedding stationery. Personalised marble coaters were used as favours, with guests’ names written stylishly in gold.

The pair were married in the beautiful setting of Wynyard Hall. Even the morning rain showers could not dampen her perfect day. The couple's wedding was captured in these beautiful shots by creative wedding photographer Fyzal.

THE VENUE:

“It’s hard not to be in awe of Wynyard Hall. The venue stole our hearts the moment we went to look round and the chapel is beautiful.

Our wedding coordinator Ashleigh was amazing – kind, thoughtful, prompt and so supportive – she is a credit to the venue.”

Brooke said: “Fyzal had been recommended to us by quite a few people. I can honestly say we made the best choice. We couldn’t have asked for more.

He was professional, funny and most importantly he made Scott feel comfortable in front of the camera. Scott had been dreading getting his photos taken for the full lead up to the day.”

THE BRIDE’S ADVICE:

“We wanted everything to be perfect. I was constantly looking on Instagram for inspiration, but it was making me doubt the choices I was making.

The planning was more enjoyable when I stopped worrying about trying to make our day ‘Instagram perfect’. I made it perfect for me and Scott.”
