This Still Nature photoshoot is a fresh take on an outdoor wedding, inspired by simple Scandi living. The woodland setting is totally undisturbed and is a combination of natural elements, textures and picturesque props. A stunning tablescape topped with dripping candles, casually laid linens and twiggy floral arrangements creates an undone quality. To complement this outdoor affair these wedding creatives have used dark forest greens, woody browns and bronzes that are lifted with soft pinks and deep reds.
The detail comes from the loose, unstructured flower arrangements, which have the feel of being swept from the forest floor. The dried elements of twigs, seedheads and bracken combined with evergreen foliage give the arrangements a sense of longevity. Nude roses, blousy anemones and rich toned ranunculus and hellebores add a flighty sensuality.
Collections of logs and tree stumps work to create an outdoor ‘room’ and pillar candles of differing sizes provide the ambience. Garlands creep around trees as if they are growing there, and the repetition of vertical tree trunks into the distance create a dramatic natural backdrop. White stationery has hewn edges and perfectly placed black serif typography for a gorgeous monochrome effect.
