Nestled in the heart of the beautiful market town of Ripon, sits The Old Deanery Hotel and Restaurant. Dating back to 1625, this Grade II listed building resides in the shadow of Ripon Cathedral.
Its serene location, historic features, and awe-inspiring gardens ticked every box for this chic and romantic shoot – photographed by Jane Beadnell Photography.
A vision of serenity. The bride’s Romantica of Deven gown came from The Bridal Affair and, like the venue itself, married the classic and modern. An intricately decorated bodice gave way to a stylishly tiered, demure blush skirt.
A kaleidoscope of blooms, dotted with succulents made up the vibrant bouquet by Serendipity Floral. Complimenting the arrangement, the bride’s “something blue” came in the form of small blue flowers sprinkled in her hair.
Hair and Makeup
The subtle lip and dark eyes, by Chalmers, added to the models classic English rose look, while the botanical up do added a bohemian flair to a traditional bridal hairstyle.
Keeping with the delicate colour palette of peach, light pink, white, dusk green and a hint of powder blue, the cakes by Zoey’s Fancy Cakes were also pastel and decorated with more flowers.
Combining colourful florals with succulents are a huge bouquet trend right now and add a dash of something different to a contemporary floral arrangement.
