A collaboration of one of the region’s newest shining stars in hosting weddings and an array of the finest boutiques and suppliers (all from our glossy’s pages and online guest List community!) make this AW20 editorial for Belle a beacon of positivity and finesse.
Cue dancing light, ethereal styling and botanical accents.
Location: Dalton Old Pump House
Our brief was to capture the raw beauty of this unique Grade 11 listed building before major renovation starts to transform it into an incomparable wedding venue. The venue opens summer 2021.
“The raw brickwork in this building and majestic architecture were a dream to style. We decided upon a colour palette of green punctuated with whites and gold to bring the botanical accents to life alongside, of course, the very best in designer bridal wear. We created a ‘runway’ to showcase these with floral masters Wild and Wonderful, who were the key influencers of the styling of this editorial.”
– Karen Bell, Editor
This iconic design house brought the statement fashion – modern styles sporting signature accents, including pleated sleeves, bow details and gold buttons to complement the overall brief.
Y.A.P Bridal, Newcastle:
We showcased the Evie Young collection, namely the Jagger and Sierra gowns – bohemian beauty at its finest. We showcased two major trends in bridal for 2021, detachable sleeves and blush as an optional go-to gown hue.
Leigh Hetherington Bridal Wear, Newcastle
Gowns Briar, Bronte and Brony showcased Leigh’s newest collection and a statement nod to the boho style notes on the brief. Crafted in the UK, we feel this collection is one of Leigh’s finest to date these were indeed fitting silhouettes for the style of this shoot.
Award-winning designer Kate brought the ballgown beauty with two incredibly beautiful designs, Dahlia and Primrose, two pocketed silhouettes boasting botanical accents – the ultimate in fashion-forward bridal.
Rare Bridal Studio
A brand new studio, based in Washington, Rare Bridal studio offer the very best in cool, unique bridal wear for brides who want to escape the norm. Styles featured are from cool labels Amy Mair and E&W Couture.
