Clean, alabaster silhouettes, accented with statement jewellery and an ‘out there, don’t care’ attitude in this blanched urban styled shoot from Belle Bridal fav, Lee Scullion.
‘Say no to clothes with a toxic trail…’
Using ethically sourced fashion from H&M’s Conscious Exclusive Collection, this shoot was curated to emphasise the growing, harmful effect that fashion can have on the environment. H&M are aware of the steep ecological price tag that can come with fast fashion and that’s why the fabrics used in the Conscious line are designed to promote eco-friendly fashion through the use of recycled materials.
The model’s rich, caramel skin tone further complimented the shoots ‘ivory in Vogue’ wardrobe.
For contemporary brides who are looking for affordable style that doesn’t come at the expense of Mother Nature, this white wardrobe studded with bold, gold jewellery, is the perfect example of what happens when bridal luxury meets street.
A Versatile Venue
Offering a 3500 sq.ft. canvas, Mayfield Studio’s warehouse style space perfectly encompassed the vibe of this shoot. The light, airy interior lends itself to endless styling options and provided the ideal, minimalist backdrop for the shoot.
Newcastle-based make-up artist Marta used a blend of deep kohl under the eyes, accented with subtle highlight which gave model, Rimka a natural and lustrous look. When combined with a slicked back hairstyle, the finished affect was a sleek, statement editorial.
The camera used for story was the Hasselblad Digital Medium Format. Lee Scullion enjoys an illustrious career in both bridal and fashion and is a regular contributor to the lead editorials within Belle Bridal Magazine.
