Styled Shoot: Manchester Hall, Elegantly Edgy

Once known as the Freemasons Hall, Manchester Hall’s stunning mix of contemporary and historic features lent itself, effortlessly to the shoot’s concept of ‘Modern Victoriana.’

Loosely influenced by the era in it’s drama and rich colour scheme, this shoot was styled by Stacey Pepworth of To be Revealed Style to showcase both her distinct brand and a talented collective of regional creatives.

As a trained dancer, Stacey wanted to incorporate her passion for the theatrical by portraying movement throughout and was first attracted to the stark, teal walls in the hall.

Shining a spotlight on each wedding supplier, Stacey created a capsule of images which showcased a blend of various styles.

‘So many [brides] are opting for an evening outfit change at their wedding now and I love that so wanted to play on that idea a little!’ – Stacey from To be Revealed Style, Shoot Stylist

Having just opened a new boutique, Serendipity Bridal supplied a stunning selection of Shikoba Bridal gowns, featuring tassel detailing and chic fringing which highlighted the overall boho luxe vibe.

Showstopping headpieces by Rachel Chaprunne and a painted leather jacket from Mama Inc studio made for an overall elegantly edgy finish; with the central, silver headpiece with burgundy and teal crystals being designed specificallyfor the shoot.

The incredible make-up and hair duo of Charlotte and Amy completed the almost gothic essence of the model, alongside the ruffled cake by Cakes by P. which literally dripped with opulence. Placed next to the stationery it was an absolute dream of bold colour and floral details.

Florist Sara of Bridegemont decorative created an amazing huge bouquet with rich colours. The size and the slightly thrown together look was perfect and gave plenty of scope to play around with. Featuring on trend sweetheart tables and an iconic Victorian urn, the goal of this styled shoot was to create a bold and dramatic atmosphere in a beautiful and intimate setting.
