In completely private grounds, Langton Hall sits on an exquisite Yorkshire land. The period venue of Langton Hall is the something old, something new location for the most spectacular, unconventional wedding. The Hall has some of the most incredible country views you’ll see at any venue in Yorkshire.
When Langton Hall recently came under new ownership, the digital marketing for the Hall suddenly erupted in the world of social media. Creating a new Instagram page, Langton Hall has been showcasing what they have to offer; with visions of epic backdrops and precarious landscapes.
Langton Hall delivered this innovation to perfection, along with the creative work of photographer Fran.
The organisation and styling for this shoot is with thanks to LND events, the creative Yorkshire wedding planners, showcasing what they can create for your special day. Putting together this modern meets historical theme, LND proved their creative flair and attention to detail.
The neon lights , provided by Love Lights the Way, lit up the set for that pop of colour, bringing the 80s retro vibe to the day.
Hot pinks and florescent colours ran through every piece of styling for this shoot. From the cake, to the flowers, to the stationary.
This tropical-styled cake was made and designed by where the ribbon ends, featuring gold foil décor and leafy green palms embossed onto the two-tier cake.
The award winning cake company design bespoke cakes for all occasions, located in North Yorkshire, they are perfectly situated for venues and areas all around Yorkshire.
With an exact match to the vibrant pinks, the flowers, from The Petal Studio were everything needed to complete the look of the bride and groom. Piecing every part of set styling, bringing it together to finish it off.
Also located in Yorkshire, The Petal Studio calls themselves the affordable, classic and elegant florists.
The quirky and friendly team at the petal studio design the arrangement to suit each individual style and persona through the use of florals and flowers.
After sourcing real life couple Abbey and Jamie, it was known that the chemistry on set would be just as electric as the neon lights.
Abbey wore the Francesca Gown from Noya by Riki Dalal, provided by Little Pearl Bridal Boutique.
Francesca Gown is sexy, stylish and fashion-forward gown made from breathable, yet form fitting fabric.
Paired with tassel earrings from Starbox, that come in a variety of colours, which provided a vintage twist on this contemporary ensemble.
Hair and Make-up:
Abbey’s hair and make up was styled by the talented hair and make up artist Emily, based in Leeds.
With a glowy natural complexion, big lashes and a pink punchy lip, the colours complimented the set fantastically and kept the neon pop theme running through the shoot.
On Abbey’s arm, Jamie looked insanely cool with a Dandy Thread’s suit. His rough and ready look with stubble and tattoos gave the traditional Groom’s look a contemporary accent. The luxurious black evening suit was teamed with a dark green bowtie, finished with a pink flower buttonhole from Dandy Thread’s, based in Guisborough.
Stationary and Table Styling:
Stationary was provided by Rachel Emma Studio, a wedding designer who promises to help couples create extraordinary designs for extraordinary weddings.
The Hall featured a beautiful mahogany table, set with menus and name cards on the table for the ultimate dining element. Bringing a contrast of modernity and timely classics of wedding day delights. Rachel Emma hand drew the botanical features and paid incredible attention to detail, making sure every piece of stationary and accessories were to the highest quality.
