My Pretties UK, the Wedding and Event Styling Company, planned a unique and exclusive styled shoot.
At the elegant and idyllic venue of Woodstock, the Yorkshire venue is the ultimate British wedding location. Just 12 minutes from the City Centre, Woodstock is the supreme compromise of country views and the hustle and bustle of city life.
Some of Belle’s favourite wedding suppliers came together for this special shoot. Featuring The Petal Studio, Little’s and Loves Photography and Where The Ribbon Ends.
Photographed by Fran, the imaginative talents of Little’s and Loves, everything was captured to the highest of standards.
With a soft and romantic colour palette, the nude and taupe colours evolved into beautiful gold and pink tones. Colour’s that compliment both the Bride and the perception. And not to forget sparkle, lots of sparkle!
A need for all things Boho, The Petal Studio was the no-brainer option to make a floral statement with earthy tones and striking whites. The Yorkshire talent had considerably the most important part of the set, decorating the scope of Woodstock.
Another one of our Yorkshire faves, Where the Ribbon Ends, designed the most amazing vintage four-tier gateau. The beautiful cake was then surrounded by candle light, for that added dreamy ambience. If you’re in need of ANY kind of bespoke made wedding cakes, Where the Ribbon Ends is the one for you.
Delicately produced stationary was provided on the day by Somers Creative, the Artisan wedding professionals based in East Yorkshire.
Neutral colours ran through the calligraphy, for that natural, hippy feel. Pampers grass and dried flowery accessorised the wedding breakfast menu and other wedding day necessities.
Enlisting the help of real life couple Charlotte and Lee, the two represented the fun, quaint and bohemian-esc time.
Charlotte, the Bride for the day, wore a selection of dresses from Dotty Bridal in Holmfirth. Both dresses were incredible for the theme and colour scheme, but the ‘evening’ gown was practically made for Charlotte.
The ceremony gown, India by Madi Lane, is the boho dream. The bold overlays and figure-hugging silhouette is the holy grail of dare-to-be-daring.
With high-repeat lace for the bridal touch, the material of this dress is a mixture between perfect comfort and contemporary chic. This dress lets the bride decide who she wants to be. Giving her the option of detachable shoulder straps. Paired with a simply stunning, full-length veil by Mini Quinni, the alternative and bespoke veil designers. And for the finishing nuptial dash, a princess style headpiece for day and a leafy crystal headpiece for that touch of bridal glamour, by one of our favourites – Starbox Jewellery.
And now for the star dress. Not it’s official name, but wow, all we can see is stars!
For the second look, Charlotte wore the Orion Gown by Willowby By Watters. The free-spirited dress is the A-line, gold, sparkly attire that will simply dazzle everyone. Not only does Belle love this gown, but so does the camera.
Capturing the twinkle of the stars and the boldness of the gold seams, this neckline and optional crafty split shows off Charlotte’s creative ink flawlessly, transforming her into the essence of boho.
This sequin-star look was finished with a custom-made jacket, crafted from ivory denim. Bespoke by Love Letters by Lillie, the jacket was made with luxury signage reading “WIFE LIFE” for that cool, trendy add-on.
Hair and Make-up
Charlotte’s make-up look was used for both dresses, focusing on dewy skin and nude tones; the goal was to make Charlotte wear the look, rather than the look wearing her. Charlotte’s glowing face was united with flowing, glossy hair for her day-time mood and a draping, tousled up-do for the evening. The talented Chrys Chapman, based in Yorkshire, put the gorgeous hair and make-up together.
The Groom for the day, Lee, was the dapper and classic gentleman that brought the contrast between boho Bride Charlotte and trendy traditional Lee.
The fresh black and white tux was complimented with a black bowtie, for that cheeky luxe look. Frank Bird in Yorkshire supplied Lee with his ensemble of rich garb.
