Barolin Farm

A true home from home…

Set on an idyllic 20-acre private estate nestled in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, Barolin Farm is a brand new, family-run wedding venue redefining rustic romance.

Set to open in March 2022, this converted coach and horses stable was bought in 1954 and converted into a family home by the Barolin family, who are now guiding it into the 21st century as an all-encompassing, exclusive-use wedding venue.

The gem in their crown? A personal, completely catered experience that offers couples the ultimate country luxe celebration.

Welcome to your bolthole

Hannah – a member of the family, is the onsite wedding co-ordinator and either she or another member of the family will be there to support you with planning and organisation – ensuring your celebration runs as smooth as possible.

Set up home in the main house, where eight individually-styled and ensuite bedrooms sleeping 17, a quintessential farmhouse kitchen, real open fires and charming drawing room are perfect for pre-wedding frivolities and preparations.

For bigger parties, book out the additional on-site cottages and chalet sleeping up to 26 in utter laidback luxury.

Did we mention it’s dog friendly? Bring those furry friends too…

A Marquee Signing

When it comes to the wedding, Barolin boasts a beautiful array of spaces to suit.

New to the farm is the magnificent on-site marquee that sits in the old tennis court tucked away in the walled garden. This sumptuous light-filled space seats between 70 and 250 guests, and can be modulated down for small and intimate soirées.

Gather and graze, chat and natter, and dance the night away in this party palace – while guests spill out into the festoon-lit area surrounded by the up-lit red brick of the walled garden at night.

In the way of décor, your imagination knows no bounds. Work with Hannah and the team to bring your vision to life, be it a classic white wedding or a bold and beautiful, less-than-traditional bonanza.

In the walled garden in front of the weeping willow tree makes a beautiful spot for a blessing with a celebrant, or head into the house to sign and make the marriage official.

There are also lots of lovely churches nearby if you’d like to make it ‘ofish’ elsewhere but return to your bolthole for a memorable reception.

In short, if you’re looking for a venue with versatility, this is the place to be…

Uniquely Yours

Gone are the days of pre-determined, off-the-shelf wedding packages that feel more put-together than personal.

At Barolin, every single wedding is as unique as the next – pick your own suppliers, decorate the venue to your tastes, select a ceremony space that suits, have it run over two days – this is your dream day, your way and Barolin are here to make it possible.
