THE NIGHT BEFORE - Relax with guests, enjoy drinks and a bespoke barbecue menu or graze on some delicious sharing boards. Kids head to the rustic treehouses, whilst adults unwind in the underground entertainment den with its own built in music system before resting their heads in the boutique bedrooms.

THE MORNING OF - With two suites to choose from you can both stay separately the night before. After a peaceful sleep, wake up to a tasty breakfast, get ready with your bridesmaids in the lavish dressing room within Lady B’s Wedding Suite, or say cheers with your wedding party from the comfort of the Ellingham Superior Suite.

Lady B’s Wedding Suite

With its French design influence, a show-stopping Super King-Sized Bed, antique fireplace, crystal lighting, private dressing room and oriel window seat overlooking the front lawn, this is the bridal suite of dreams.

Ellingham Superior Wedding Suite

The lavish Ellingham Suite is full of fine features including a Super King-Sized Oak bed, luxury double drench walk-in showers and a spacious lounge area. At the end of a busy day of wedding celebrations, you can walk out onto the west-facing private rooftop terrace and relax in a warm hot tub jacuzzi overlooking the estate. Yes please.

SAYING I DO - Offering five ceremony spaces for up to 140 guests, Ellingham really has a space to suit any style of wedding. Opt between the classic ceremony room, recently updated with lavendar panelled walls and an immaculately restored feature cieling; impressive Wedding Chapel, complete with a huge lofted cieling and overhead mezannine for Birds Eye vantage points (imagine the pictures!), an outdoor ceremony on the front lawn, an intimate knot-tie ‘under the hollies’ in the woods right next to the Hall or impress your guests with amazing views of the stunning Northumberland coastline on the rooftop ceremony space. Utilise this mansion to suit your vision, Ellingham is your oyster.

DRINKS RECEPTION - Create a bespoke drinks menu including beers, cocktails, champagne in a space that suits. Head outside for Pimms and canapés on the lawn, or for those colder months, indulge with mulled cider in front of the crackling fires in the two homely reception rooms.

WEDDING BREAKFAST - Enjoy a personalised menu cooked to perfection in the Chapel, seating up to 140 guests before cutting the cake (and shapes) on the dancefloor. 

EVENING - Feast on tasty street food, enjoy your first dance under a canopy of festoon lighting and keep the drinks flowing from the Chapel bar, or head down to the underground entertainment den with built-in sound system, customisable lighting and of course beers and bubbles – perfect for the late night revellers. 

THE MORNING AFTER - Awake in your serene suite and head down to the Chapel for a hearth Northumbrian breakfast, before a late checkout allows you ample time to catch up and say your goodbyes.
