Driven by two ambitious creatives who are inherently passionate about the project, Simon and Martyn, Halton Grove was born when the pair got their heads together during lockdown. Having always dreamed of owning “the perfect wedding venue”, the lull of the pandemic’s first lockdown gave them the time to brainstorm and six months later, Halton Grove was born.

THE ESTATE

Surrounded by rolling hills, with unrivalled views across the Tyne Valley, the Halton Grove estate is unlike no other. Guests have full exclusivity of the estate during their wedding, and when there’s picture-perfect properties wrapped in wonderful wisteria and winding woodland walks, you’ll feel a world away from the everyday.

Comprising a Victorian Farmhouse, New Extended Stables, a Luxury Bridesmaids Cottage and gorgeous untouched rambling grounds, this estate provides all the makings of a classic exclusive-use venue but boasts an indulgent interior edge. Simon and Martyn have brought in popular stylist Kerry Lockwood to oversee the design of the development, adding another string to their mighty aesthetic bow.

Couples can cosy up in the Victorian farmhouse where individually-designed ensuite bedrooms, light-filled dining room, lounge areas and luxury touches foster the feeling of a classic country bolthole while the extended stables offer practical Pinterest-inspired areas for partying and romancing.

In the way of food, the bespoke wedding menus feature everything from classy canapés to lavish seafood platters and dramatic, theatrical feasts.
